ACC in southern WV is a music education program that will meet every Thursday at Southern WV Community and Technical College in Logan. The program is available to boys and girls in grades 3 through 8. The group is directed by Ms. Krista Brown.
Ms. Brown lives in Logan and is a seasoned performer in the area. She is heavily involved with the Aracoma Story, Inc., serves as Choir Director at Claypool United Methodist Church and regularly performs for organizations such as The Logan Chamber of Commerce, International Industries, Laurel Creek Coal, and Massey Energy.
The southern WV choir will have three concerts in 2009-2010: one in Charleston at the Clay Center, one in Logan for a spring event and one in Charleston for a spring event.
The program runs throughout the school year, and the cost for the entire year is $450. Montly payments can be made. Financial aid is available to families who qualify. Funding has been provided by the Logan County Charitable and Educational Foundation and by the Clay Center.
