ACC has partnered with Arts in Action to present a choir in Putnam County!
ACC-Putnam will meet in the Arts in Action studio on Main Street in Hurricane on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Children in grades three through nine are invited to join.
The choir will be directed by Ms. Ilse Long. Ms. Long has a master's degree in music education from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in music performance from the University of Charleston. She is also pursuing a doctor of musical arts. Ms. Long lives in Hurricane and directs the show choir.
Cost for ACC-Putnam is $450 for the year. Tuition can be paid in 10 monthly installments of $45. Financial aid is also available to those who qualify.
Our next enrollment will be in the summer of 2010. Students do not need to have a piece prepared. Students will be asked to participate in rehearsal and audition afterward. Auditions are a friendly and positive experience for every child and are simply a way to gauge the child’s vocal ability. We at ACC are very inclusive!

Arts in Action is on Main Street in Hurricane, past the firehouse and Putnam County Bank.
The building is directly across from the BP station in a block of colorful buildings. It's the last one on the right, and the studio is upstairs.
